When PAS, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party proposed recently that if elected at Federal level, they will introduce the concept of a “welfare state” in accordance to Islamic principles, many quarters including the so-called “Muslims” who are actually Islam Liberals and munaafiqun par excellence, disputed this statement and make ridiculous claims about the proposal, ranging from skepticism, “it ain’t just possible” [any reason given to support that statement, Kuli?] to mockery without any understanding about the concept of welfare in an Islamic State.

I think some Penangese Malay do not hurt once in a while:
Ni cek nak habaq ni, nampaknya pilihanraya dah nak mai. PM paling raplah jingga dalam sejarah Malaysia ni dah mula dok pi mai sana, pi mai sini, nak mula kempen lah tu nampaknya. Dahlah dok bagi orang kapiaq ni satu lagi ekstra public holiday. Orang tua tu tak penat ka dok pi mai, pi mai, tapi tang tu jugak? Depa ni mana reti nak paham macamana nak tadbir negara ni.
Sapa tak suka PAS, ramai-ramailah pakat dok pi pangkah dia. Ada paham?

Bravo for having the guts to say this:
“In the world, there are deviations from the right path: Christianity and Judaism. Dollars have been devoted to the propagation of these deviations. There are also false claims that these [religions] will save mankind. But Islam is the only religion that save mankind.“
How true that is, indeed!

Lately I find myself addicted to PDF e-books on world military history, and I have been selectively downloading some titles from Osprey related to that. I focus mostly on military history related to the First World War, the Second World War, the Napoleonic Wars and even downloaded stuff related to the Middle East military history such as the Six-Day War as well as the Islamic military history of Yarmuk, the Arab Conquest starting from the first Caliph, and of course not forgetting the Crusades and the campaign of Salah ad-Din al-Ayyubi when he crushed those half-naked man worshippers during the Third Crusades.
Very interesting stuff indeed, I think I am going to spend the rest of the week reading all that material once they have finished downloading.
