Munafik-titis and yoga

Its amazing how there exist a group of people in this world who claim to be “Muslims” and yet oppose any attempts to make clear issues concerning the aqidah of the Muslims. Such people, whom I should refer to their disease as “Munafik-titis“, will find fault with anything involving the ulama or any fatwa (religious edict) which they think violates their “understanding” of Islam. It does not matter if these people never had any formal religious training in the first place. They still feel that they are qualifed to be the Law, the Judge and the Executioner….and all at once.

And I seriously doubt that they practiced yoga at any point in their lives either.

Now coming back to the issue of yoga and Islam, what the National Fatwa Council is planning to do is nothing novel nor are they the first to issue an edict on the matter. It is interesting that I happen to come across Islamonline.net and their collection of edicts, where they have made mention of yoga. I reproduce the following from the site mentioned.

Made a decision

Well after considering the pros and cons and weighing on the consequences, I have made a decision. This decision is bound to change my lifestyle and challenge those who think that it is not possible to earn a living from full-time online internet entrepreneurship. The decision is….

I am sure you can figure out what this means

Hindraf is banned

And about time that it is, too. Its probably the only sane thing done by the Pak Lah administration ever since it took power in 2003. I understand that the Malaysian Indians may have grievances and grouses about the way they are treated and I can sympathise with them. Such problems can always be alleviated through existing political parties and associations, but not through this semi-terroristic, racist group which calls itself “Hindu Rights Action Force”.

The name “Hindu” in there already tells you that the group is staunchly pro-Hindu and adheres to the ideology of Hindutva. It reminds me of terrorist groups such as the Sri Lankan Tamil Tigers or the VHP and RSS in India. They have already caused more trouble than they are worth in their respective countries. How is Hindraf going to be any different?

Proselytisation

Spotted this car recently during a drive in KL when heading towards Puduraya.

Truly, I am amazed that they can get away with doing this for so long. This is not the only car “proselytising” this decrepit Zombie Religion either, as I have seen such stickers showing on many cars. I notice that it has become a common occurrence as of late. Someone should put a stop to this practice by banning this altogether.

And to respond to that “sticker”, I wonder how you can put your trust in “Jesus” when according to the New Testament account itself, he cried out Eli eli lama sabachtani (my God, my God, why has Thou forsaken me?). Emphasis in bold is my own.

Honour killing, the Christian way

I have in the past come across criticism from those from that “God Eez Lurveee” belief system that their religion is “superior”, and often honour killings that happen due to culture (and nothing to do with Islam) exist in regions such as Jordan and Pakistan are pointed out as examples. Well, this particular news report should remove the smirk from their faces now. The level to which these pseudo-monotheists have stooped to truly shows how pathetic their religious belief system really is in the first place. My deepest condolences to the Egyptian Muslim sister and her family for their loss and I grieve for them.

Man shoots at Muslim convert sister

AN Egyptian Coptic Christian shot at his sister and her family, killing her husband, after she converted to Islam and married a Muslim, a security official said today.

Rami Atef Khella, 28, broke into the Cairo apartment of his sister, Miriam Atef Khella, and sprayed her family of three with gunfire, killing Ahmed Saleh and injuring Miriam and her daughter, the official said.

The official said Khella had been searching for his sister for about two years, after she left her home province with her Muslim husband and came to Cairo.

Police are searching for Khella and an uncle who accompanied him to his sister’s home and fled the scene after the attack, the official said.

What was that again about this being a “religion of love”? May her husband receive Jannah for he certainly has died as a shahid for the Deen.
