Azalina Othman and her lies
If the stories about her sexual inclinations are true, then perhaps it is no wonder why this imbecile would actually come up with a statement like this:
Azalina Othman Said, 43, believes women offer the best chance of glory for a modern Muslim nation hungry for sporting success – but in trying to encourage more girls to take up sports, she is quietly holding the line against conservative Islam.
Wearing a tracksuit-top and pants, Azalina told Reuters in an interview in her office on Tuesday that Muslim sportswomen were free here to dress just like their non-Muslim rivals, whether in the pool, on the diving board or in the gymnastics arena.
I would probably attribute it to her profound lack of ignorance regarding the injunction of the Qur’an which tells all believing women to cover themselves. That, and plus the fact that she is holding the Sports portfolio, she has no excuse to plead ignorance about Asian Games gold medalist Ruqaya Al Ghasara who won the 200 meters race, sponsored by Nike. And guess what she was wearing at the time?
Now what do you say to this, Azalina?
