  • Bundling the Best of Both Worlds

While playing a game online, I saw an ad for a cable provider, telling me to click for more info. At that point, I didn’t really care about anything cable related. I was using DSL Internet service, and I had regular over the air TV. I was pretty content, until I found out that a new channel dedicated to video games was going to be premiering on cable. This really piqued my interest, because there hasn’t been a channel like that in many years.

The only thing I could think about for the next few days was cable. Even while playing games online, all I could think about was how much faster a cable Internet connection would be in comparison to my old DSL. I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to find that ad once again. I clicked on it and it took me to a website that featured information on different cable providers in my area. I looked at their prices, speeds, and channel listings, and there were many providers who had what I was looking for in a provider.

I eventually cancelled my DSL service and switched to a cable Internet and television bundle. By bundling the services together, I don’t have to pay as much on my monthly bill for the services. Now when I play games online, I’m faster than the other competitors, which gives me quite the advantage, especially in racing games. As for the video game channel, I was there the day it aired its first program. It was everything I thought it would be and more. The channel even had a program dedicated to people who compete in game tournaments. I saw many people that I had seen compete before. I began to think how cool it would be if I could get on that channel.
