Chinese PM for Malaysia?
Even the thought of that happening would probably make many people bristle, including yours truly. A very long time ago, that is, back when the idea of MELAYU = ISLAM is synonymous with my identity. Things, of course, have changed since then and even more dramatically so after the recent General Elections. Frankly race was never an issue for me and I can accept an ethnic Chinese Malaysian as my Prime Minister but there is only one criteria: he must be a Muslim in order to uphold Article 3 of the Federal Constitution.
No exceptions and no further argument is necessary. And oh, in case you are wondering, that picture above is not a Chinese temple. It is a minaret of a mosque.

why can't a non-muslim upholds article 3 of federal constitution?
[MENJ: Because a non-Muslim does not reflect the Religion of the Federation as stated in the Constitution, and therefore makes it impossible for it to be upheld.]
