How, by any stretch of the imagination, if the said hadith was indeed uttered by Prophet Muhammad, could it have referred to BORN MUSLIMS? In the Prophet's time?

Or is the first generation of MUSLIMS living in the time of the Prophet now conveniently thought of as BORN MUSLIMS?

[MENJ: Who are you to question this interpretation? Are you a jurist, a muhaddith or a scholar? If you are none of these, please kindly SHUT UP.]

Simply labelling other people as morons, by the way, does little to make you any more credible, regardless of whether or not this is YOUR site.

[MENJ: The above statement still applies.]

can u tell us how should muslims n non-muslims alike prevent something like this from happening?

Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong Declared a Muslim, Children ‘Disinherited’
http://juslo.blogspot.com/2008/01/tan-sri-lim-goh-tong-declared-muslim.html

please dont just say that this is 'anti-islam', 'islamophobia.' please b SPECIFIC. there wont b any 'phobia' if there's concrete, specific safeguards against ABUSE N MANIPULATION.

cheers.

[MENJ: Why should I even bother addressing nonsense which, by your own admission states as thus: "This is purely a SATIRE. NOTHING in this post is factually true."

Something which is based on falsehood is not worth responding to.]

Actually, there is basis for this fear - a Hadith in the Muslim collection (Book 11, Hadith 3928), which states:

"Usama b. Zaid reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A Muslim is not entitled to inherit from a non-Muslim, and a non-Muslim is not entitled to inherit from a Muslim."

While we have not consulted the Syariah enactments of Malaysia, a paper from the e-Syariah website - specifically, on page 3, article 7 ('Syarat-syarat Pusaka') - states that a difference of religion is one criteria nullifying inheritance.

[MENJ: Yes this hadith is a sahih hadith but this applies to BORN MUSLIMS, and not REVERTS.]

Pulling things out of thin air? Guess again.

[MENJ: Morons who have no knowledge of hadith exegesis should not be commenting on things that they do not know about.]
