Indeed Eid al Adha is a major event for all Muslims but what is needed is a thorough investigation of the of Islam the religion and those who made what Islam is today. In a time when the world has shrunk to a global community.

We need to concentrate on using the resources of travel and learning to educate ourselves in a more hands on way, which is more possible these days. If Imam Bukhari travelled for many days to get one hadith then our time we should be learning first hand how our history was shaped. Rather than going on holidays that have little or no importance in terms of our educational endeavour. I think if we travelled with companies like http://www.stepintimetours.com and used travel to educate ourselves about our own religions and other religions, then we would not need to have programs about these events we would know first hand.
