  • “Witness the half-naked man” in Afghanistan

    According to Al-Jazeera English:

US soldiers have been encouraged to spread the message of their Christian faith among Afghanistan’s predominantly Muslim population, video footage obtained by Al Jazeera appears to show. Military chaplains stationed in the US air base at Bagram were also filmed with bibles printed in the country’s main Pashto and Dari languages. In one recorded sermon, Lieutenant-Colonel Gary Hensley, the chief of the US military chaplains in Afghanistan, is seen telling soldiers that as followers of Jesus Christ, they all have a responsibility “to be witnesses for him”.

They have been doing this in every nation they have occupied previously, so it came as no surprise to me. After all, the tactic has always been (and will always be) BIBLE + JESUS = FOOD. What is sickening is that these worshippers of a half-naked Roman criminal swinging from a cross are getting away with their Bible-thumping in a predominantly Muslim nation, with no outcry from other countries. I would think that da’wah movements such as WAMY or ABIM Outreach should step in to deal with the situation.

They have a disease in their hearts

    The Qur’an says:

“In their hearts there is a disease; and God has increased their disease: and grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves)” (Qur’an 2:10).

Sometimes I wonder at the idiocy of some people who try to poke their nose into issues which do not concern them. Now they are dragging Noorullah Online into their mud-slinging contest. But since they were begging for it, I have decided to issue a “reply” to their nonsense:

Ref: Why do Christian missionaries have diseases in their hearts?

    That should shut them up.

    Cognitive dissonance

When presented with multimedia evidence documenting their crimes, one particular commenter emitted a strong reaction to the idea that they worship “a half-naked Jew”. Of course I admit however that the description was inaccurate; I should have said “a bloodied, half-naked Jew executed as a Roman criminal swinging from a cross”.

I believe this state of denial is referred to as cognitive dissonance in medical psychology. While on one hand, they will accuse you of being a liar and manipulative in describing their demi-god, on the other hand the description of what they worship is certainly goddamned true. Ever watched Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of Christ” lately? See how they depicted the person they claim to “revere”, in no uncertain terms.

    Know thy enemy

    Know thy enemy

The axiom of “know thy enemy” continues to prove itself over and over again:

A Baptist pastor who lost a son in Iraq objects to the placement of special sinks that would aid Muslims at the Indianapolis airport in preparing for prayer because he opposes “the fraternization with our open enemies during a time of war,” according to a statement from his church.

The Rev. Jerry Hillenburg, pastor at Hope Baptist Church on the city’s Far Westside, is calling on Mayor Bart Peterson to halt the installation of the floor-level sinks at the Indianapolis International Airport.
