The people in Egypt are under governmental siege. Mubarak regime is banning Facebook, Twitter, and all other popular internet sites Now, the internet are completely blocked in Egypt. Tomorrow the government will block the 3 mobile phone network will be completely blocked.
And there is news that even the phone landlines will be cut tomorrow, to prevent any news agency from following what will happen.
Suez city is already under siege now. The government cut the water supply and electricity, people, including, children and elderly are suffering there now. The patients in hospitals cannot get urgent medical care. The injured protesters are lying in the streets and the riot police are preventing people from helping them. The families of the killed protesters cannot get the bodies of their sons to bury them. This picture is the same in north Saini (El-Sheikh zoyad city) and in western Egypt (Al-salom). The riot police is cracking down on protesters in Ismailia, Alexandria, Fayoum, Shbin Elkoum, and Cairo, the capital, in many neighborhoods across the city.
The events unfolding in Tunisia and Egypt renewed my faith in the restoration of power to the people via demonstrations. I watch in awe as I saw my Arab brothers in Tunis and Cairo battle with the police and showed their anger towards their respective dictatorships. While the dictator in Tunis has fallen and fled the country, in Egypt things are still going on for five days running now, as the dictator in charge simply refuses to get the hint.
I believe, however, that it is only a matter of time before he goes the same way as his counterpart in Tunisia did.
I have in the past come across criticism from those from that “God Eez Lurveee” belief system that their religion is “superior”, and often honour killings that happen due to culture (and nothing to do with Islam) exist in regions such as Jordan and Pakistan are pointed out as examples. Well, this particular news report should remove the smirk from their faces now. The level to which these pseudo-monotheists have stooped to truly shows how pathetic their religious belief system really is in the first place. My deepest condolences to the Egyptian Muslim sister and her family for their loss and I grieve for them.
AN Egyptian Coptic Christian shot at his sister and her family, killing her husband, after she converted to Islam and married a Muslim, a security official said today.
Rami Atef Khella, 28, broke into the Cairo apartment of his sister, Miriam Atef Khella, and sprayed her family of three with gunfire, killing Ahmed Saleh and injuring Miriam and her daughter, the official said.
The official said Khella had been searching for his sister for about two years, after she left her home province with her Muslim husband and came to Cairo.
Police are searching for Khella and an uncle who accompanied him to his sister’s home and fled the scene after the attack, the official said.
What was that again about this being a “religion of love”? May her husband receive Jannah for he certainly has died as a shahid for the Deen.
