I watched Jim Carrey’s “Yes Man” two days ago. Like everything else he does, he does things to a really wacky extreme. In a nutshell, the story is about a motivational programme that the main character attended and he puts what he learnt from the programme into practice to the most extreme end possible…with surprisingly good results.
It was actually real fun to watch and I loved every second of it.

I really hate to say this, but I am sorry to say that Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was truly a huge disappointment for me and fell far short of my expectations. While I truly enjoyed the first movie and loved the book, the movie takes about only 30% of the original storyline and warped it beyond recognition. I miss the dry humour of Trumpkin, who was not only not named in the movie, he barely had the screen time he truly deserved. As for Caspian, he was overshadowed by the other four who was supposed to put HIM on the throne of Narnia, not steal the limelight and take away leadership from him. Bah!
To be fair, the special effects was OK, battle scenes were cool and scenery of Narnian landscape was excellent. But I really hate the storyline! This is not the Caspian that I know! Would someone please sack the director and script-writer and replace them with another person?
As an avowed Heroes fan currently following the second season of the TV show, I dare to claim that this video parody is exceedingly funny and is a must-watch for all fans.
The movie was way better than I had initially expected. To put it simply, it is a cross between Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe with the Lord of the Rings trilogy. As Malcolm would put it, however, this should be watched with a significant other.
I will watch the movie again with her at a later date.
