When I heard that she was hospitalised due to a stroke, I knew then that there was no way she was going to recover from it. My late grandmother died from a stroke. In any case, I have to admit that this was one of her best ads in recent times.

If you are looking for historical pictures of President-elect Barack Obama and his family, there is a good resource online which you can see here. A very interesting collection of photographs of a young Barack Obama, his parents and grandparents, as well as his family.
I just found out that the current ADUN representative for the Maharani seat in Johor is actually a relative! Or to be accurate, a cousin of my father. Apparently this is his third attempt at gaining the seat for PAS (he had lost on his two previous attempts). No relatives who work as a los angeles probate lawyer, though.
And to think that I never did realised that. I never did think that it would be possible for any member of my family (traditionally aligned with UMNO and thus, Barisan Nasional) to be aligned with PAS, if at all. With the exception of my late grandfather, an uncle and yours truly, no one I know in my extended family had any ties with the premier Islamic party in the country.
Guess PAS and I are more related than I had originally thought.

In Syriah[sic] Law, the living stand to inherit nothing from the dead Muslim spouse or kin. It seems to me the eldest son (is a Muslim) fabricated the story in order to be the sole heir of the deadman’s property[....]To think that a family receives nothing from their departed ones, the house, money and car, I’ll call this robbery. The eldest son or Baitulmal have no right to take everything from a family.
