A joyous and blessed new year to all Muslims around the world, on ocassion of the new Hijri calendar year. May the Muslim ummah be preserved and that the cause for a Pax Islamica will never fade, insha’allah.
On my part, I have several Islamic projects in line for this new year. There will be radical changes to how Islam is disseminated and propagated throughout the internet. I am revamping some Islamic sites which haven’t been updated for some time, consolidating the network and researching new information to refute the polemical lies that the enemies of Islam are launching against the deen. Please do make du’a for this success, insha’allah.

By the fate of Allah subhana wa ta’ala, I came across this book by Dr. Isma’il R. al-Faruqi entitled “The Hijrah: The Necessity of its Iqamat or Vergegenwartigung”. I never knew this book existed and I wasn’t even sure that it was really authored by almarhum, until I came across this entry at the Pustaka Perdana Library. I’ve already placed an order for this book, so let’s see what the contents are once I’ve received the book (expected to be in December according to Alibris). I am very excited because knowing Dr. Faruqi’s style and ideology, this book will surely not disappoint. Its quite strange that this book was not included in his Bibliography, but I am taking the liberty to officially add this book to the list.
A month seems like a long time away but once I get this book, I will scan it and put it up online for all to benefit from it.

A most blessed and a happy New Year of 1429H to all Muslims around the world. In commemoration of this auspicious occassion, this blog will be taking a break for one day. Insha’allah, this blogger will be back tomorrow.

Alhamdulillah in just a few hours’ time, we will see the coming of the New Year dawning upon us, insha’allah. I do not have any New Year Resolutions planned for the coming year, only that I hope that things will be better than before for me and my fledging online business, insha’allah. Perhaps I’ll draw up a short list of what I will strive to do and what I expect will be the outcome in a short while when the New Year approaches.
