Critical Thoughts

A few months ago, a fellow PAS activist had informed me that Zaid Ibrahim, the former MP for Kota Bharu, is expected to be dropped for this election, which is why PAS in Kelantan were no longer bothered with his scathing remarks about the party during that period. That prediction has turned out to be a fact.

Under that demeanour lies a two-faced, ugly little git who is a true-blue Islamophobe to the core. I have certainly not forgotten about his remarks about lottery in sports and PAS (which, by the way, was uttered in Parliament!) I think such blatant comments about his candid approval of gambling at the expense of Islam shows the real face of this character.

Come to think of it, we have a better name for such people. Good riddance to you, Zaid Ibrahim, because you certainly will not be missed.

This is something you don’t see often…Liberal Islam hypocrites and Kafir Islamophobes patting each other on the back.

Sometimes these Liberals really astounds me. Its amazing that a certain person in Australia could identify himself as a “Muslim” and fast in the holy month of Ramadhaan, while at the same time unabashedly admits that he fails to do the salaah. Actually I am speechless and I do not know what to say about this kind of attitude.

It does however remind me of a hadith by the Prophet Muhammad (P), which goes as follows:

“It is possible that one standing [in prayer] only attain weariness from his standing and the one fasting only attain hunger and thirst from his fasting.” [Musnad Ahmad]

Which aptly describes this person very well. I would think that even getting a nose job rhinoplasty in Philadelphia would be more difficult. So he might as well not fast.

Now if you would excuse me, I have to go and prepare for my salaah, lest I be compounded with folks the likes of this hypocrite.
