I personally believe that the chances GaySec has checkmated a highly-provocative, insulting and idiotic little Islamophobic web troll who has been terrorising the Malaysian internet scene / blogosphere for months running are very high…despite what the losers at “Murtads from Malaysia and Singapore” FB page may have to say about that. I remember that some seven years ago, back when the “Murtad Mama” identity was revealed (I was the person who spread the information about her real identity but didn’t discover it myself), the person in question too made a lot of denials and ran away from questions about her identity, until it came to a point when she could no longer hide it and had to come clean and admit it publicly. I see the same thing happening to this “Sitt al-Wuzara” character on Twitter and Facebook.
Instead of wasting my blog space commenting on CSL’s ridiculous remarks on connecting Islam with corruption, I would like you to read this excerpt from a speech by the Penang Chief Minister which debunks the Islamophobic remarks by the MCA President.
For someone who had to resign from all his party and government positions not too long ago, due to his short-stint career as a porn actor in a Batu Pahat hotel, he sure has a lot of cheek making up these lies about Islam.
Go fuck yourself, Chua Soi Lek! And I mean that quite literally.
This is a reminder to the leaders of my political party to be always be wary of the “old guard” from DAP. It is true that currently we are together in an alliance called Pakatan Rakyat, and I would not have it any other way. The other alternative would be to join the ultra-racist party called United Malays National Organisation, and we certainly cannot have that! However, at the same time, there are idiots in the Demons After Power people which are full of people inclined towards Islamophobia. But I’ve always believed that those “enemies” are almost always more honest than the so-called “friends” who hide their keris behind their backs in order to wait for the opportunity to stab you from behind.
As the saying goes, “keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer”.
I had refrained from commenting on the referendum for the minaret ban in Switzerland because I had felt that the Swiss might be more rational and vote against the ban. Well, as it turned out, I was wrong. Damned wrong.
Its time that Muslims around the world express our dissatisfaction and concern with this current tirade of Islamophobia in Europe by organising a ban on all Swiss products coming from there and/or break any diplomatic contact with the country in question. Much like the blasphemy cartoons issue not too long ago, the only language that these people understand is the power of an economic boycott.
Imagine what would happen if Muslims started voting in approval for referendums allowing for the banning of church steeples, Hindu bells and Buddhist gongs from these places of worship in the Muslim world. The outcry from these Islamophobes would be defeaning. Fortunately (or unfortunately), Muslims are not taught to be biased or racist towards people of other faiths. The likelihood of something like this happening in the Muslim world is pretty much zilch.
I blogged about the anti-Islam “Adibah Ahmad” blog last night. Its contents were so distasteful and derogatory in mocking the Prophet’s (P) name that I wouldn’t even want to repeat it to anyone. My suspicions are that this blog was not started by the real “Adibah Ahmad”, but by someone masquerading as her. The blog was actually reported in TV3′s Buletin Utama minutes after I was alerted to its existence and told Rohaizad about it. Even Utusan Malaysiacarried the news about the blog today.
However, when I checked the URL again just now, the blog was gone, most likely deleted by Blogger administration since there was no usual “This blog does not exist” message from Blogger. I believe that the FLAG system had made this possible. Congratulations are in order to all Muslims in Malaysia who have made this possible and caused this distasteful anti-Islam blog to be wiped out from the face of the Internet.
