Video of the akad nikah ceremony that took place several weeks ago, binding me in marriage with my wife.

Now you know where I have been the last couple of weeks. Still busy with married life, so I won’t be around for now. I will be back when I am ready.

Last Sunday our family held a wedding reception on occasion of my sister’s marriage (the akad nikah actually took place on the previous day). I thank all those who received the invitation and attended the walimatul urus. It was a really busy time for me and because of that, I was unable to update the blog as I had originally planned. Anyway, I should return to the original program after this.

It is amusing to see this former Digital Point member (whom I will not dignify by naming her), recently banned from DP for her lesbian tendencies, found it fit to attack Islam (as well as committing ad hominem against me) by raising an issue from a post I made way back in 2006 in response to her nonsensical diatribe about the Prophet (P) and the young marriage of Aishah (R). It has always been a favourite of the Islamophobes to cite the occurrence of this marriage and put the “pedophile” charge on the Prophet (P), while ignoring the circumstances of 13th century Arabia which accepted such practices, as well as the fact that this was a marriage, not a rape or forceful child abuse against her will.
