Now that Switzerland is banning anything that looks like a minaret to be built in that God-forsaken country, Muslims should be more creative to circumvent the ban. Let us build more of these instead. Maybe that will keep them from complaining about “Islamisation” in their nation.

Its not what it seems to be. At least now they will complain about “Chinafication” of their lanscape, instead of their relentless vitriol about Islam.
Hat tip: Malcolm Wong, for suggesting the idea.

I had refrained from commenting on the referendum for the minaret ban in Switzerland because I had felt that the Swiss might be more rational and vote against the ban. Well, as it turned out, I was wrong. Damned wrong.
Its time that Muslims around the world express our dissatisfaction and concern with this current tirade of Islamophobia in Europe by organising a ban on all Swiss products coming from there and/or break any diplomatic contact with the country in question. Much like the blasphemy cartoons issue not too long ago, the only language that these people understand is the power of an economic boycott.
Imagine what would happen if Muslims started voting in approval for referendums allowing for the banning of church steeples, Hindu bells and Buddhist gongs from these places of worship in the Muslim world. The outcry from these Islamophobes would be defeaning. Fortunately (or unfortunately), Muslims are not taught to be biased or racist towards people of other faiths. The likelihood of something like this happening in the Muslim world is pretty much zilch.
