  • What did Erdogan say to Peres at Davos?

What did Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan really say to Israeli President Shimon Peres at Davos? The English translation provided was sanitised to such a degree that the end result became less harsh than the intended criticism which Mr. Erdogan dished out to the terrorist Peres. Here is the running translation of the Davos incident, translated by Asdren Zajmi:

Mr. Peres, you are older than me, yet your [tone of] voice is so loud. The reason why your voice is such is because of a sinner’s psychological disorder. My voice will not be as loud as yours. So keep that in mind.

When it comes to killing, you know very well how to work this out. I know very well how you killed the children playing on the beach. I know two important statements [coming] from two of your Prime Ministers. Your Prime Ministers have said, “When I enter Palestine with tanks, I feel a great happiness inside”. Whereas you can only give me numbers [for the Palestinians killed until now], I can give you the names of those Prime Ministers…maybe some of you are curious to know. I also denounce and criticize those that applaud this injustice because applauding those who kill children and innocent people, I think, is inhuman. It is also a humanitarian crisis, we cannot leave the truth aside.

I took a lot of notes [from Peres' talk] but I am not about to respond to all of them now. I just want to say a few things: firstly, in the Sixth Commandments of the Tawrat, it is said that “You shall not kill” but we can clearly see that Israel has done mass killings [of civillians]. Secondly, it is very interesting [to note] that Jewish writer Gilad Atzmon has said “Israeli barbarianism is beyond cruelty”. Also, we have the professor of International Relations at Oxford University, Avi Shlaim — who had been an Israeli soldier — saying in The Guardian newspaper that “Israel is a nation of burglars”.

From this point onwards, Davos is over for me and I will not come to Davos anymore because you did not let me speak freely. He [Peres] spoke for 25 minutes whereas you only let me speak for 12 minutes…this is unacceptable.

By the way, Erdogan is my new hero too What did Erdogan say to Peres at Davos?

Najib Razak slated to be PM

As I see how things are playing out, I think it would just be a matter of time before Najib Razak is declared to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia, and definitely it would be before 2010. I am not sure whether I am too comfortable with the idea, though, due to the alleged murder links and there is also the issue of his religious convictions.

I certainly do not want a Hindu as my Prime Minister. But let us see how this plays out, too early to tell at the moment.

    Yet another Schism

I wonder what’s with these various versions of Schism….but I like it. I like it a lot. Not as good as the previous version but still makes the point regardless.

/sarcasm We already know that Christians are generally closet-minded Nazis and terrorists in disguise. This video simply reaffirms that perception. /sarcasm

Pak Lah’s legacy is a higher rate of crime

Thanks to the secular system that this country has, we have a higher rate of crime ranging from murder to kidnapping and theft. Speaking of theft, yesterday my sister was a victim of a snatch-thief, and guess where this took place? Right in front of the gate of her house. She was telling me how she felt that the rate of crime in the country is rising. I told her point-blank that she is not the only one experiencing this feeling of insecurity and concern about the high rate of crime.

Now thanks to the secular system and in particular, Pak Lah, we have a higher rate of crime. Congratulations!

    Benazir Bhutto assassination

I knew of the assassination and her passing a mere few hours after the initial attack. Any such crime is always reprehensible, no matter the motivation behind it. My deepest condolences to her family and the people of Pakistan for their loss.

And yet again, we have the same boogeyman blamed for this crime.
