I thank her for addressing me directly in her post here but to be honest, she had done a “tembak sebelum semak” (to borrow the words of Tan Sri Dr. Koh during the Guan Eng-Tsu Koon debate) and assumed that I wanted to debate with her on the issue of Islam & Christianity. So in short, I think you have misunderstood the intention of the debate and even the topic of the debate that I invited you to debate me on. I wasn’t going to ask you to debate with me on the issue of Islam and Christianity (I could do that, but not at this time), but I want to challenge you based on the topic of this post. To be specific, it will be about the Jews and the Muslim attitude towards them, as well as whether Muslims really hate the Jews or otherwise. In fact I want to debate you based on these questions you have raised in your post:

“Why must ask Malaysians of a certain faith to stick together to be wary of the Jews? Why need to warn them? Like we have not enough problems of our own? Smaller, daily routine problems.”

So there is no need to “chicken out” on this. The debate (or if you prefer, discussion) can be conducted in a peaceful and informative manner and there is no need to go in a huff about it either.  So what say you? The offer is still open. I find you an intelligent person and that is why I made the offer because I don’t discuss with stupid people.

As for where Shadowfox is concerned, don’t even mention that bastard’s name to me. He is not even worth the speck of dust under my feet.

Begrudgingly I have to accept the fact that yet another person had decided to leave the body of the ummah and while I agree with the conclusions on why the Shariah Court in Penang approved the application of apostasy in the aforementioned case, I lament the fact that we still do not have any proper legislation to deal with apostasy and apostates from Islam in particular. In this particular case, there is evidence that she was never exposed to the proper teachings of Islam (which is where the sole blame lies with MAIPP, PERKIM, MACMA, etc., and no one else) and thus this judgement is correct. But there is, of course, the issue of another “Siti Fatimah” in Malacca who was raised as a Muslim and of course, Lina Joy who was also a born Muslim in the first place.

Let it be clear that there is no way the Muslim ummah should ever accept Muslims committing the heinous sin of apostasy and there is only one punishment for that: Man badala deenahu, faqthuluhu!

Today, we see in the Muslim world that the ummah is slowly making this prophecy come true.

Muslims are now officially more numerous than the half-naked man worshippers from the Catholic sect.

Islam has surpassed Roman Catholicism as the world’s largest religion, the Vatican newspaper said Sunday.

“For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us,” Monsignor Vittorio Formenti said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano. Formenti compiles the Vatican’s yearbook.

He said that Catholics accounted for 17.4 percent of the world population — a stable percentage — while Muslims were at 19.2 percent.

Good. That’ll teach ‘em. So much for the recent Fitna….it sure didn’t stop the tide.

Two blogs from Muslims of Chinese background which I happen to come across. The first one is by Ridhuan Tee and the other one is by Lim Chuan Hing. I wish I could find more blogs from Chinese Muslims who blog about Islam in English. I have yet to come across any.
