I am not voting for the Opposition

February 14th, 2008

Not for them in my DUN and Parlimen areas, that is.

I’ll be damned if I am going to vote for the Devils After Power or the Dacing. Rest assured that there’s a spoilt vote coming from me. I hope that if this party or this party is standing in your area, do vote for them. You may blow up the Rocket but please send the Eye or the Moon to Parliament in order to defeat BN’s two-thirds majority.

Why PAS will become the next Opposition leader

Elections are coming and rumours have it that it might be held next week. I am not too sure about it but we know very well that they certainly cannot risk having it after April, due to the obvious. Whatever it is, I expect that insha’allah, PAS will be able to hold on to Kelantan, recapture Terengganu or at least make significant inroads in the state, and reclaim the seats in Perlis, Kedah, Selangor and significant gains in Johor. I see that especially in Johor, the winds of change are blowing PAS’ way, although where elections are concerned nothing is certain and anything can happen.

Siti Nurhaliza and the Battle of Yarmuk

January 29th, 2008

I do not usually read Malay-based blogs, but I do find this post very interesting, even entertaining as well. It reminds me that I have to catch up on reading Osprey Publishing’s Yarmuk AD 636, which I downloaded not too long ago. Which reminds me that I really should go out and get a printer to print out the pages so that I could read it at leisure.

It would be good to actually learn and reflect on something, instead of entertaining some goblok individuals That-Shall-Not-Be-Named who really should only be seen, and not heard.
