  • WTF is PKR thinking now??

We solved one problem, now a new one crops up:

PKR threatens to pull out of Perak gov’t

Just as one fire has been doused in Perak over the appointment of a PAS man as the new mentri besar post, another one is taking place. PKR has today threatened to pull out from the Perak coalition government on hearing that eight of the 10 executive council posts will go to DAP while the remaining two going to other parties.

Oh great, this is really shitty. The BN boys must be laughing at us now. I reiterate the call for all parties to stop being childish and come back to reality!

DAP rescinds decision on MB of Perak choice

Good thing they did, I was already beginning to think that they are still embroiled in their Chinese Chauvinistic mentality and will never change, an attitude which obviously has no place in this country. Let’s move on and stop this bickering of yah-yah-I-wanna-get-MB-post-with-utter-disregard-for-reality so fark deez Mozlems.

This is why I loathe “cooperating” with DAP

    Vindicated? I certainly think so.

Without PAS participation in the coalition, the DAP is nothing in Perak. It is true that PAS only has six seats in Perak and the PAS Commissioner for Perak have already stated in a press conference that they will accept the decision of the Sultan in determining who succeeds the post for Menteri Besar. The fact remains that there is no way that a non-Muslim can or should be allowed to become Menteri Besar, as one of the official duties as Menteri Besar is to advise the Sultan on Islamic matters.

It therefore boggles the mind as to the nature of this belligerent attitude from the DAP, just merely days after a historic win. Its very sad but I believe that if this situation is not resolved, PAS should consider forming a government with the Barisan Nasional opposition.

Ir. Mohamad Nizar is the new MB of Perak

Ir. Mohamad Nizar is the new MB of Perak

Thank God that my prayers have been answered:

Pasir Panjang state assemblyperson and Perak PAS secretary Mohamad Nizar Jamaludin was today confirmed as the new menteri besar of the state.

The decision was reached after the Regent of Perak Raja Nazrin Shah met with the three nominees for the post this evening.

The other two candidates for the post were state DAP chairperson and Sitiawan state assemblyperson Ngeh Khoo Ham and PKR’s Behrang assemblyperson Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi.

Also decided today is that Ngeh would be made the deputy menteri besar (1) while an Indian candidate would be made deputy menteri besar (2).

Now that this has been settled, its time to get back to business. The new MB of Perak should ensure that all state assemblymen aligned with the government should not turn their positions into their personal lab equipment like the BN assemblymen did.
