Rather bizarre to see how this “administration” is fond of contradicting itself on several points. First was the decision to have no Royal Commission on the Lingam tape issue, but to set up a three-man panel to investigate and report their findings to the Cabinet. After the panel recommended that a Royal Commission was set up, the findings were still denied and a three-man Ministers-with-a-law-background panel was instead set up. Then out of the blue, a Royal Commission was announced to be set up.
So we are back to square one, returning to what should have already been done in the first place! The art of flip-flopping has taken on a new definition, it seems.
