Not too long ago, we heard this coming from Najib.

KOTA BARU: It may be Tahun Melawat Kelantan (Visit Kelantan Year) this year, but Barisan Nasional intends to change it to Tahun Merawat Kelantan (Year of Treatment for Kelantan). The play on words was made by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak yesterday as he made his rounds in the Pas-ruled state. He said it was important for the people of Kelantan to support the BN and enable it to develop the state to be on par with the other states administered by the BN.

“The word ‘merawat’ stands for treating not only people suffering from diabetes, hypertension and obesity but also to bring about a total change in Kelantan,” he said at a meeting with the staff of the Kelantan Health Department at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital.

Najib said the Federal Government’s efforts to bring changes to the state would be greatly affected if the voters were to opt to retain the current administration.

“There would be problems if they decide to shut us out as it would cripple our efforts to develop and bring change to Kelantan.”

Weeks later after the grand victory of Pakatan Rakyat taking over five states and denying Barisan Nasional their precious 2/3rds majority in Parliament, it looks like poor Najib would have to eat his own words. In fact, one should say that this year is “Tahun Merawat UMNO”.
